Teams and retainers

For developers, IPPs, funds, lenders and public owners who need models they can take to an investment committee, without building a modeling team to get there.

Who we work with

Organizations with real transactions and no full-time modeler, or a modeler stretched across too many deals.

  • Mid-size developers scaling a pipeline
  • Independent power producers adding capacity
  • Funds and family offices entering solar
  • Lenders, CDFIs and green banks
  • Universities, municipalities and nonprofits
  • Subscriber organizations and new market entrants

  • Term. Three-month minimum, then month to month with 30 days' notice.
  • Billing. Monthly in advance by card or ACH. Pay 12 months upfront and save 10%.
  • Hours. Unused hours do not roll over, except up to one month's hours on the Fractional Modeling Desk.
  • Additional work. $325 an hour, approved in writing before it starts.
  • Credits. A Professional or Institutional fee paid in the prior 90 days is credited toward the first month.
  • Transactions. If Transaction Support becomes a Hillcrest advisory mandate, retainer fees paid are credited against the success fee.
  • Ownership. You own your deal-specific outputs and keep a perpetual license to every model delivered.
  • Confidentiality. Mutual NDA in every agreement; we never name clients without consent.
